Apple Honey Brie Toast

Apple Honey Brie Toast is the Fall toast to try. Tart apples, with the nutty, earthy flavor of brie with the sweet honey was an incredible combination. Brie is a mild, buttery cheese that goes very well with sweet flavors such as honey and apples.

  • butter for toast
  • 2 slices toast any preferred kind
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • brie sliced in 1 cm thick slices
  • 1 tbsp honey


  • Butter the slices of bread on both sides, place them in a pan (you don't have to butter the pan for this) with medium-low heat. The heat should be low enough for it not to burn, but high enough to get that crispy exterior. I started out with a lower temperature and slowly increased it.
  • When one side is done, flip it, and add the slices of brie and the slices of apple. The amount of brie that you choose is optional, I like to cut it to about 1 cm thick slices (about 0.5 inch). The apples should be thinly sliced or it will be overpowering too.
  • When the other side is done (a few minutes), place it on a plate and pour honey on top of it.
