  • 2 medium avocados ripe
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1/2 mild red chili e.g. serrano
  • 1/2-1 lime, juice *
  • 2 pinches whole dried cayenne peppers crushed, or 2 pinches chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro optional
  • 1 tsp cumin or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt & pepper or to taste

  • Mash the avocados: After you've open the avocados, add them in a bowl and make a creamy paste with a fork. I don't want it to be overly mixed as I like small bits of avocados in my guacamole.
  • Mix with the other ingredients: Grate a clove garlic and mince a chili, add into the avocados. Chop the cilantro. Get the juice from the lime, but don't add more than half at first. Crush whole cayenne peppers in a mortar and add along with the other ingredients.
  • Taste and adjust: Mix until everything is incorporated, taste and consider if you want to add more spices and lime juice.

* Remember that if you find it a little too sour because of the lime, it is supposed to because it balances out all the food you usually eat it with.
